The Vendor Export Report gives your team a downloadable view of vendor lien waiver activity and vendor exposure across projects. It helps you review unsigned waivers, track waived amounts, compare open A/R against vendor A/P, and spot where vendor-related risk may need closer follow-up.
Use this export to identify which waivers are still outstanding, which signed waivers still need action, and where vendor exposure may be affecting billing, collections, or project visibility.

If the export shows an alert that A/P data may be outdated, review that project’s ERP data before relying on the vendor exposure totals.
By vendor
This tab summarizes vendor waiver activity at the vendor level.
Column | Description |
Vendor name | The vendor name |
Open AP | Open accounts payable tied to the vendor |
Conditional waived | Total amount covered by returned conditional waivers |
Unconditional waived | Total amount covered by returned unconditional waivers |

Open waiver requests | Total number of waiver requests still open for the vendor |

Average return time (days) | Average number of days it takes the vendor to return waivers |
This tab helps you understand vendor exposure at the vendor level by combining waiver activity with financial context like open A/P, waived amounts, open commitments, and return times.
If the export shows that A/P data may be outdated, treat those values as needing validation before using them for follow-up or decision-making.
How to use the Vendor Export Report
The Vendor Export Report helps answer questions like:
Which vendor waivers are still outstanding?
Which signed waivers still need to be submitted or reviewed?
Which projects have the most open waiver requests?
Which vendors are the fastest to return waivers?
How does open A/R compare to vendor A/P on a project?
Are outstanding vendor waivers slowing down collections?
Which vendors should we prioritize follow-up with?
Best ways to use this report
Here are a few ways teams can get the most value from the export:
Cross-reference it with A/R Aging
When reviewing open receivables, compare the Vendor Export Report with the A/R Aging report to see whether outstanding vendor waivers may be affecting collections.
Prioritize vendors based on return speed
Use the By vendor tab to identify vendors who return waivers quickly. This can help you make smarter decisions when assigning work in the future or planning vendor follow-up.
Review it weekly
Make it part of your regular workflow to check the report weekly. The By project and By vendor tabs make it easy to spot where the most outstanding waivers are piling up and where follow-up is needed most.
Focus on open requests first
Use the Unsigned waivers tab to quickly find waiver requests that are still open and prioritize vendors that need reminders or follow-up.
Review signed waivers that still need action
Use the Unsubmitted signed waivers tab to catch returned waivers that are ready to submit or need review so they do not get stuck.
Compare open A/R to vendor A/P
Use the By project tab to compare open A/R and vendor A/P side by side. This can help you spot projects where vendor exposure may be outpacing collections visibility or where follow-up may be needed before issues grow.
Watch for outdated A/P data
If the report flags that A/P data may be outdated, validate that project or vendor data before using it for operational decisions. This helps make sure your team is working from the most reliable exposure view possible.
