Intended audience: accountant or billing lead. Setting up Procore doesn't require your IT team β the work happens between you and your general contractor's Procore administrator.
To set up the Procore integration for billing, you will need to contact your general contractor(s) and ask them to do two things:
Add a new user to their Procore directory under your company (details below).
Install the Siteline Connector from the Procore Marketplace, if it isn't already installed.
Step 1: Request the Siteline Admin user be added
Ask each GC to create a new user in their Procore directory with the following details:

Permissions
The Siteline Admin user needs the same permissions you would give one of your own project managers who works on progress billings for the job:
Change Orders: Standard
Change Events: Standard or Read-Only
View SOV Items: On
If contract visibility is set to public, no additional changes are needed.
If contract visibility is set to private, the GC needs to add the Siteline Admin user to the "Access for Non-Admin Users" section and check "Allow these non-admin users to view the SOV items."
Ensure the Siteline Admin user has access to the relevant commitment(s) for your company in each project, including any subcontractor SOVs (SSOVs).
Step 2: Install the Siteline Connector
The GC (or their Procore administrator) installs the Siteline Connector from the Procore Marketplace. This only needs to be done once at the company level to enable the integration for all current and future projects.
Step 3: Siteline finalizes the integration
Once the new user has been added and the connector has been installed by your GC, your Siteline CSM will complete the setup process and notify you when the integration is fully active.

We're using a software platform called Siteline to help us centralize and manage our A/R process across all of our clients. Siteline integrates with Procore, which will allow us to quickly import project information from Procore and transfer our draft billing numbers into Procore for billing each month.
In order for this integration to function and to help us submit billing information on time, we need your help in adding a new user to your Procore directory so that it can be added to the projects we have with you.
Here is an instruction video walking you through all the steps. This process is the same as adding an additional PM from our side to Procore, but with the following information:
First Name: Siteline
Last Name: Admin
Email: [provided by your Siteline CSM]
