Siteline makes it easy to change the billing dates or due date of a pay app. Note that only draft pay apps can be modified. If your pay app has been signed or submitted, please revert it to draft and the option to change the dates will appear.

Edit project due date notifications
If your pay app reminder emails are not coming in at the right time, you can update the project’s pay app due date and internal reminder timing in Project Settings.
These settings help Siteline know when pay apps are due and when your team should start getting reminders.
When to update project due date notifications
Update these settings when:
Pay apps are due on a different day of the month than what’s currently set
The GC requires pay apps by the end of the month
Your PM or billing team needs more time to prepare pay apps
Reminders are being sent too early or too late
A project has a different billing deadline than your company default
Update the pay app due date
Open the project you want to update.
Go to Project Settings.
Find the pay app reminder or due date settings.
Update the Pay app due date.
Click Save.
You can choose a specific day of the month, such as the 10th, 15th, or 25th.
You can also choose End of month if pay apps are due on the last day of each month.
Once saved, Siteline will use this date to determine when pay app reminders should be sent for that project.
Set reminders before the due date
You can also adjust how many days before the pay app due date your team should start receiving reminders.
For example, if pay apps are due on the 10th and your PM only needs one day to complete their part, you can set reminders to start 1 day before the due date.
If your team needs more time, you can choose an earlier reminder window.
After making your changes, click Save.
Use “End of month” as the due date
If pay apps are due at the end of each month, select End of month as the pay app due date.
This keeps reminders aligned with the actual end of the month, whether the month ends on the 28th, 29th, 30th, or 31st.
Set a company-wide default pay app due date
You can also set a default pay app due date in Company Settings. This helps keep new projects aligned with your standard billing deadline.
To update the company-wide default:
Click your company name in the upper-right corner of Siteline.
Go to Company Settings.
Find Default pay app due date.
Choose a day of the month or select End of month.
Click Save.
You can still update the due date on individual projects when a project has a different requirement.
Need to change the date on one pay app?
Project due date settings control recurring reminder timing for the project.
If you need to change the dates on a specific draft pay app, use the Modify dates of a pay app workflow instead.
