Siteline + Sage 100 Contractor - FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Siteline + Sage 100 Contractor integration

Written by Bradley LaFave

Audience: accountants and project managers.

Can Siteline handle lien waiver tracking?

Yes. Siteline imports vendors from Sage 100, then lets you manage waivers through the vendor module. Vendors must be added to projects manually to initiate waiver tracking.

Do retention values sync?

Yes, retention is included in invoice syncs. However, retention-only pay apps are not currently supported and must be entered directly into Sage 100.

What about unapproved change orders?

Only approved change orders from Sage will sync. Others can still be tracked manually within Siteline.

How long does integration setup take?

Most customers are fully connected and syncing data within a few days of onboarding.

Why doesn't the posting period match the invoice date?

The posting period in Sage is automatically determined by Sage based on the current period that it is in. To post to an older period, change the current open period in Sage to a past one, sync the invoice, and then change back to present day. See the Usage page for details.

An approved change order in Sage isn't showing up in Siteline yet β€” what should I do?

When new data is entered into Sage, like an approved change order, it can take 5–10 minutes for that information to be made available for syncing to Siteline. Wait a few minutes and refresh.
